Training TipsPlayers, please:
Hydrate before attending training. At least 600ml of fluid prior to any session is adequate. Have breakfast out of the way at least 25 minutes beforehand. Showing up to training without eating will only cause YOU discomfort and slow YOU down.
Bring adequate fluid refreshments to training. A long queue at the drink fountain interferes with the session.
Sip your drink-don't gulp it down. YOU'LL be sorry later if you gulp!!
Bring a hand-towel, a spare shirt, sunblock, a cap.
Get into the shade and off your feet when we advise you to.
Tell us if you're feeling unwell during training. Before it becomes unbearable.
Tell us if you suffer from ANY condition that we need to be aware of. This is regardless if you have a guardian in attendance or not.
Use the the two recovery methods jay has shown most of you. Go and see at training if you missed out.
Get sustenance into you no longer than 30 minutes after training is completed. It'll re-energise you for the rest of your day!If you're unable to accommodate this request, then put something substantial into your gear bag to nibble on.
